Testimonials
“This group has profoundly shaped me. I experienced the power of people thoughtfully and carefully engaging with my story, revealing how God is present in my most painful moments. Through the empathy, compassion, and care of my group members, I caught a glimpse of the face of God. I am forever shaped to reflect Jesus in the way I listen to others.”

“This experience has been profoundly impactful on my life and ministry. I thought I had processed my story. I have been to therapy and worked with a coach for years, but I have never experienced what I did until getting into one of the most significant moments of my life to see how it has shaped my life so clearly.

“Having others be able to speak into my story helped me see things I had been holding onto from a different light. Listening to others stories helped me develop a care and understanding for others that has helped in my everyday relationships. In the middle of both of these experiences was Dean, a careful guide through dark places with attunement and skilled navigation together..”

This group has helped me to process a story that has long been one of shame and frustration. Dean and the group helped me to dig beyond the surface anger into the well of grief that lay beyond it. I was given insight into a tender part of my heart and the group helped to begin healing there.

“Exploring a story of childhood trauma was really daunting as I approached the task. Dean and the group helped me engage in a way that brought clarity and meaning to the challenge of facing something so hard to face. They was able to name things that I might have missed and gently helped me stay with the story to mine the hidden treasure there.”

“The participation in this group has been eye-opening, healing, and transformative for me. For the first time in my life, I felt deeply seen and cared for in regard to an otherwise lonely experience of my life. Entering the pain, finding comfort in the careful presence of others (and of God) and re-engaging my own story with compassion has allowed me to understand and begin to unlock some stuck patterns in my life. I am deeply grateful.
